Biography

I am currently a PhD student at Yale University working with David van Dijk. I previously obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University in 2023. In parallel to my studies at McGill, I worked on computational social science research with Reihaneh Rabbany at Mila from 2019 to 2023. There, I worked on detecting human trafficking online and studying political polarization dynamics on social media. My current research focuses on designing generative models for single-cell transcriptomics. More broadly, I am interested in generative modeling of structured data, active learning, and representation learning on graphs.
